on question 14, are we looking at the blue dots or the black dots??? i have checked through loads of braille translations and all i can make out is the letter T.

Conversion of Star Clock Time to Local Daylight Savings Time

The basic relevant fact that allows us to read the star clock is that the star clock moves backwards (counter clockwise)and at half speed (one rotation in 24 hours) compared to an ordinary 12 hour clock.

This allows us to put together the formula ...

(Difference in Star Clock time ) = (-0.5) x (Difference in Local Daylight Savings time)

and conversely ...

(Difference in Local Daylight Savings time) = (-2) x (Difference in Star Clock time )
