When Maradona scored the goal against England. He cheated. At least thats what the English say if not the whole world.
Hand of God/ Hands of God. Whatever the title put to the act it was a hand ball. BBC has now signed a contract with Maradona to reveal his side of story about the incident.
I believe that was what Drogba tried and failed on last Sunday's Match against Fulham. Probably his act failed because it was devil's hand he used !!
Cheaters will never be accepted as heroes in toto. Drogba no matter how good he might be, he is a cheater. Cought in act several occasions. Earlier it was for simulation, pretending to have been injured and now deliberate hand ball. This evidences that he is at the place where he suits the most. Chelsea.
Does Moanrinho teaches them to cheat. ? Otherwise where on earth they get the idea and blessings from, I wonder. I wont be surprised especially when the manager himself tried all the tricks under his sleeves to win against Barcelona including not changing the pitch.
Cheating is different from strategy. Vast differents between them. If a player runs in to the D-box with the ball knowing very well he will be faouled by the Defender in the D-box so that he will get a penalty. It could be classified as a good play/ good run. He used his brain, manipulated the oppenent's reaction and won a penalty.
But if dives even before he is fouled he cheats. Drogba needs to master the differents.
Liverpool is a big club with reputation. Reputation doesn't come cheap. Its all hard work, the shields we won over the years and the raport we have with the fans when we start to play. When I say fan I mean football fan. Not Liverpool fan alone. Chelsea thinks by pumping in millions and buying player, they can overtake us.
Though I am a bit disgusted with Ciise's reaction against the Crowd during Newcastle's match its no where near with what Drogba did. What Ciise did was stupid. Likewise El Hadji Diof. Spitting towards the crowd. These are stupid reactions.
But cheating brings down the whole game. It would be like WWF then. Just because some players cheat, the whole tournament is not respected. Its treated as only an entertainment.
Football is not mere entertainment. Its a form of sport.
Drogba and the like are there thinking thery are in big clubs and there ought to win all the time. When they are loosing especially to a small relegation threatened clubs, they tend to cheat. They dont respect other clubs.Other players.
What disturbed me the most was, the very fact Moarinho admitted that it was a handball but questioned the reason for the refree making the decision. He challenged that refree/
refree did not see the insident but rather gave the decision because of the pressure from Fulham players. For one how does he know whetehr the
refree did not see the incident. Just because he pretends to be blocked doesn't mean the
refree's view must also be blocked. FIFA is combating against racism. Equal importants should be given to fair play. The offenders must be penalised. Drogba was not yellow carded at all.
But justice was done eventually, Chelsea lost the match. Cheaters do moan in the end.
