Hard to know what to say at times like this - Gary's clearly a lovely guy, and I'm just glad that he gave himself all the time he could have to look after Denise in her last years.

Our thoughts are with him and his family at this time. Denise was a great ambassador in raising awareness of breast cancer, and I'd like to think that others have benefitted from hearing her story.

RIP Denise. :(

Denise McAllister RIP.

Gary McAllister was the ultimate football professional.  Kids signing their first contracts at premiership clubs should be pointed in his direction if they want a role model on how a top footballer should behave, train and play.

There will always be a warm wlcome for you and your kids at anfield Gary.

this may sound silly but I didn't even know she Mrs Mac was poorly:(

I feel so sorry for him, he was a legend in a short space of time for our club.
There is no justice in this world. This shouldn't happen to a person like Gary Mac when there's people in this world that get a piddly 3 years for horrific crimes (you know who you are!)
