"some guy called fred" - 1234spam for chief scout?

I don’t know if anyone has noticed or whether this has already been posted but "some guy called fred" is now playing for Lyon who bought him for 10Mil and is a regular in the Brazilian national squad! His scored 7 goals in 11 starts for Lyon, I only noticed him when I was watching highlights of Brazil playing U.A.E and he scored!

actually ive been watching him on french footy (7am ch4 saturdays or something) and he does look a very good player...

... id forgotten all about the spma man fred thing... genius!

In fairness to 1234spam he also repeatedly touted Leroy Lita ( he's wicked innit?) before his move to Reading. It'll be interesting to see how he goes in the Prem next season. It has to be said that for 1234spam to achieve this sort of success in the scouting department is an utterly staggering achievement.

Sounds like Lyon got a bargain , 11 starts 7 goals but how come he's only had 11 starts ? they signed him in august last year . Injury ?

This is old news and the reason why spam "scouted" Fred and Lita is because they were hot picks on Football Manager 2005. :p

Houllier wanted him for us when he was manager, he has bought him from lyon, seen him a few times and he looks decent (In the french league!!!)

He has also made a number of sub apperances, so maybe that 7 goals in 11 starts is a bit misleading!
