Let me introduce you this video.

For Spanish Speakers: the guy talking is cracking funny, note that the background music is an emulation of the Madrid game reports of Franco times :D

For English Speakers:

* The guy talks about what Gravesen provides to the attack game of Madrid (shouts and discussion with team mates)

* Beckham discussing with Gravesen

* Also shows how Gravesen uses an insult "hijo puta" to a team mate when he celebrates the goal. I guess he thinks it's a coloquial insult but it's completely inapropiate (son of a bitch) in Spanish. Guti doesn't seem to like it.

* How Gravesen sees some blood, and asks Kanoute wether it is his blood.

*Starring: la gravensinha, a ridiculous play at 3/4 part of the video

I hope you'll wnjoy it despite the language, it shows what Real Madrid is as a team.

Gravesinho

How do the Real fans regard him?
Do they think he is a bit of a joke?

Real fans will bash him just because he's a Real Madrid player. But of course there are many kinds of RS supporters :)

I think in that video the only serious player you can see is Gravesen.

The first charge is legal and it's not foul. The second one is foul.

I think he's telling Beckham that he should be in the right, Becks try to explain him that he's exchanging positions with someone else, but Gravesen thinks that's not what they've been told in the dress room. The guy tries to have tactical discipline, but that's something Real Madrid lacks. What's more, when he has the chatter with the second coach of Madrid, the coach doesn't seem to have a clear instruction to give to Gravesen.

I think that language gap is important too, not many RM players will speak a fluent english, and I'm not sure of Gravesen's Spanish understanding.

The gravesinha bit, yes, it's a joke I must admit :)

ABout the press, big headlines do not seem to rate the player because he is not that showy player, but I've seen some pundits that actually defends what he provide to RM.

But as you can see, that team isn't geled together.

I agree, there are some funny things in the video, but I rate the player.

I also found interesting to show you how bad stereotypes can be, and I also wanted to answer those who thought that Rafa would leave us to go to Madrid.

In Spain there are also stereotypes (wrong stereotypes) that actually link a player's skill to the turn arounds or showy things he make.
