it was rumourd today that lpool tryed off loading him last nite to spurs maby that was the reason, am sure we will soon find out

We had a two defenders, a midfielder, striker and keeper on the bench.

No room for him. Simple as that really.

I'd say Spurs were laughing at the reputed offer of Cisse in direct exchange for DeFoe not even Benitez thought he would get that accepted a good striker for a rather poor one Jol is no idiot.

It dosent seem to matter who is on the bench or who is on the pitch they cant bloody score anyway :angry:

Thats the Benitez way. He aint mad about strikers sees them as a luxury.

At Valencia his main boy was Carew not two disimilar to Crouch (Possibly better then Crouch) but his main job was to score the odd header and bring the midfielders into play Aimar,Angulo and in particular the Goal Scoring Baraja.

Just his way.

I support the Mancs mate so would kinda fear youse having a 25+ man. just went on here for a bit of exploration

25 goal strikers are a rare breed Owen, Van Nistelrooy and Henry are the only two in the premiership and with respect you won't get either of them since you missed out on Owen.

They can't be bought When they are finished article usually cause they are a valuable commodity look at youth teams (Don't know if yours is any good (defenitly poor under Houlier)

Crouch was never going to be 25 goals a season
yet you bought him as Benitez believes you have enough goals from midfield.

United are lucky to have Van Nistelrooy and Rooney upfront as the midfield can't score for thier lives especially with Scholes in real trouble injury wise.

good post, i understand what you are saying about you fearing the day we get a 25+ man a season, becuase watching liverpool we out class anybody in the midfield and create chances galore but we need a finisher

Does'nt matter how many you bunch of wan.kers score when you concede 4 to Blackburn you really have to rethink the gameplan!!

Cisse's one of our best strikers its just that he doesnt get too play in his proper position enough cos he gets put on da right alot so i dont think any1 should be hating on him

Nah Windups are annoying after a while there is enough Scouse on the united forum im on who come on with dumbass names and contirbute annoyance.

There was one fella alright lad he was talked bout Hillsborough (I said nothing real nasty) and it was a good discussion.

Its a strange one if you had uniteds front two you would win the league but if we had your two in midfield the same would happen.

Sorry lets not wind up to much but if my team is one up against one man do i want my midfielder to chest the ball in for them to make it easy.

Could anyone name a gaurenteed 25 a season striker thats realistically affordable there a rare breed.

On Cisse a dilemna he has so much pace but his first touch is so poor and he doesn't have the instincts at times.
