He's too ignorant or arrogant to ever admit it. I wonder how he thought we'd cope with Heskey, Baros and Pongolle as support for Owen?

When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

But at the moment we lack the standing to attract big names. The fact is we're looking at second rate players like Cisse because we can't attract big names to Anfield. If Kermit goes then maybe the next manager can turn it around. A lack of Champions League football is usually enough to deter the top names in Europe

Well I hope Cisse is nothing like his PES3 version. I have played Auxerre lots of times and he looks ok on the ball but rarely scores. Saying that, Diouf is brilliant on PES3..........

Kluivert would be gr8 but would want humungous wages!
Anelka is too unpredictable, one day he loves the club...the next he's moaning about them to the press.

I'll have to say Cisse.

David Beckham: 'Well, I can play in the centre on the right and occasionally on the left side.' (Man U)

I think Mar Viduka would be an excellent partner for Owen up front, then theres the advantage of playing with one of his Australian team mates (kewell)

I'm not "dissing" the game, but there are plenty of "flaws". Since I first bought ISS Pro through to PES3, FIFA has always been well in the shadow. Diouf is fvcking brilliant on PES3.
If you're starting a master league campaign buy him, He waltzes through defences like they're not there!

I must confess to spending a lot less time on the internet since I got PES3  :O
