effectively playing the martyr. I'm suffering for the team, etc, etc

Not sure Murinho will stand for this kinda dissent though, and especially in light of the murmurings earlier in the season (Bannor mentioned a likely transfer) then this probably the kind of thing he should avoid doing if he wishes to stay at Chelsea.

I think he'd be perfect for us and I don't think he'd cost that much either as chelsea would relish the opportunity to splash out on someone more famous like Roberto Carlos.

Gallas is a class act. As I've said before, if we were to lose Stevie to Cleasea, I would like Gallas to be used as a make weight. However, a Gallas-Carra partnership will mean we lose the height advantage in exchange for pace...

Yes, gallas will be a massive defender for us. I don't think he likes playing left back at chelsea. A Carra & Gallas partnership will be the best in the premiership (even better than terry & Carvello)

Gallas is a superb defender, one of the most consistent players in the Premiership, he is lightning quick, he doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He would be the perfect player for us.

But saying that, I don't think he will be leaving Chelsea, and if he does, other major clubs would be interested.

Every so often there seem to be stories coming out of chelsea that gallas is unsettled for one reason or another, there is no smoke without fire so we'll see what happens.  I'm sure he'll have plenty of offers if he does decide to leave though
