They got beat again last night becks was subbed and owen didnt play.
He must be really regretting the day he walked away from our club.
Its good for us there bad spell as it will put gerrard off going there with all there problems. :)
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Well cant help but say Im glad its working out this way for Owen even he admitted himself hes mystified by whats going on.
But would I have him back at Anfield....................No
The way he treated us was unforgivable

It would be a bit silly if Owen did come back to liverpool, and had to go out and face the fans every home game, knowing he has turned is back on them, and he fell on his face abroad.

he's gonna look silly.

if he did come back to england it will be to chelsea or the ******. Bergkamp will be retiring soon and they'll be looking for a replacement.

Last I saw   bbc teletext today) if Owen doesn't shape up Madrid plan to sell him next summer for around £14 million . How's that for another kick in our nuts !  :(

Woof woof

Its not a certainty that they are going to get £14m next year especially if hes been warming the bench for most of the year then they might be lucky to get the £8m.

Once you signal a player is not wanted or the player signals that then the price goes down. Top price is paid for players who dont want to move and Moyes can hand out a lesson in that department.

Fair point . but wanted or not I believe Owen will fetch significantly more than we received for him.
I'm wondering if Madrid may not have a general clearout come the next transfer window with the english players being amongst the first to go. Just as we got fed up with all our french imports I think the english players will be blamed for madrids lack of success whether that "blame" is fair or not.

All this talk of Owen coming back to us is a bit O.T.T. They say 'you should never go back', bit cheesy i know but most people seem to play by this rule and footballers have proved to be no exception. Rushie and Mark Hughes returned to do the biz but i really can't see Owen or Rafa entertaining the idea of a return to Liverpool. We don't even know how much Rafa rated Mikey.
I agree with Kewell_7 that Madrid will probably try and use Owen as some sort of a make weight in a deal for Stevie in January but my guess is Wenger or Souness are the 2 managers most likely to show an interest.

I hope things go from bad to worse for Mikey in Madrid. Not because i bear him any ill will coz i don't, but because i don't want those pompous a.ss.holes in Madrid ciming anywhere near our skipper.
