Calamity james - Deja vu

The Premiership - General Discussion

Did anyone see the goals from the Newcastle/Man City game. Newcastles first two goals took me back to England/France at Euro 2004.

First was a free-kick from outside the area in about the same place that Zidane to his against England. It was Robert from Newcastles this time but the result was the same, James did even flinch as the ball hit the back of the net.

Next goal was a repeat of the Henry penalty (except no back pass). James brought down the newcastle player in exactly the same way and in almost the same spot as against France.

Deja Vu or what, I am so glad we got rid of him and he is no longer England's No 1.  :)

I though the same thing actually when watching the highlights of that game, James is named "calamity James for a reason", how he is no1 for England is beyond me.
