How Sabre in light of the Madrid bombing can express support for an individual who has tried to justify the actions of suicide bombers is beyond me , I can only put it down to ignorance.

I can't stand terrorism. And the sister of a friend died in Madrid. Terrorism is the same :censored:

I wouldn't forgive to LA if he justified that. Never. But AFAICT he didn't say that was OK, but tried to understand what are the reasons that pull some terrorist to reach so far. The easiest (1) thing is not to do that, if LA said that those bombings were OK, I agree to ban him. If he tries to analyse the background I won't.

I hate terrorism. I cried when London bombings. I'm Basque and I hate it with more reasons that many. But 20 years ago those attacks didn't happen, and just to analyse WHY happens, doesn't mean you JUSTIFY them.

the part about barry is aimed at sabre, the part that sickens me is when you say im sad, childish and pathetic. standing up for myself is none of these things gary, if someone insults you in the pub do you just let it go? if i sent you vile insults like i and others recieved then would you let it go? its very easy saying this when you were not on the recieving end gary, if you were i would back you up, shame you cant do the same. i explained my actions to you in pm and everything was ok after that. you understood my actions but now you dont understand them. its obvious that you and LA mut have crossed pms on this subject and i obviously come up in these pms as the anti christ, two sides to every story gary and i never bothered to whinge to you about my side so your making judgement without all the facts mate.

thats an end to it, i wont discuss it anymore, he got what he deserves and im happy for that

I think that I've pushed the mods of my site in order to open an english section of the forum. It's a young section and is growing. I planned to do a Liverpool worship thread there one of this days, and invite all of you to sign it as guests. But if you want to inspire us now...

Well it seems (1) a bit now. I don't really (2) whether Barry or LA should be banned. I have (3) with LA and he isn't nice. Death threats and all sorts (4). I love this forum, I love the people on it but I wont stick up for the (5) posters. I also quite like this (6) place of text that sabre has introdued. (7)(8)

(1) this thread is dying down
(2) have an opinion on
(3) had my own run in's by PM
(4) of stuff.

Just as a clarification.

A ban is where the member's account is deleted. They show up as a "guest". A ban is warranted where there has been a severe breach of the rules or where it is absolutely necessary for the greater good of the forum.

A suspension is where a member recieves 5 warnings and has his posting rights removed. His account isn't deleted. A suspension is given out for very serious misconduct which may lead to a complete ban. However, it is also used in situations where it may be possible for the member in question to be given a second chance. Barry at the moment is under a suspension but its indefinite as like him or loathe him, Barry broke the rules on a number of occasions by repeatedly using racist language. Barry was suspended in the past for racist language, it would take an awful lot for him to be reinstated at this stage. I've told Barry that and he understands. However, an open mind is being kept.

Look, they are only guidelines. We give an hour or two a day helping out here trying to keep the place going. We have and will make mistakes, for which we are sorry but unfortunately this is not a court of law or legal system where there is perfect due process. A lot of times we just have to make a judgement call for what we think is for the greater good.

I can safely say, though, that people that really waste our time will be given short shrift.
