Yes, they are CGGY. All mothers deserve a respect. But who do not say terrible things in the middle of a discussion? for that matter, I've seen insults against LA on regular basis, at some point I'd explode aswell. Anyway I see your point, that was very unfortunate. But my point is that MOST OF THE TIME, Barry and LA are excellent posters. And when they are not, it's because they've reached to personal posting. Solution? avoid personal comments.

The moderators have had our name dragged through the mud this week, and NONE of you know the amount of shit we've had to dig through this week, so lay off. I've sent so many PMs backwards and forwards about this, I'm immune to upsetting the balance of opinion now on here.

I'll be called a twat if Hoodfella stays and I'll be called a twat if Hoodfella's banned. That's the way it is unfortunately for the mods. Thanks for the support from everyone though.

All so little Karim the trouble causer isn't made to feel unwelcome. Well, fuck that, I want a bit of peace and quiet.

These little eruptions happen all the time on here. My reasoning is if members can't behave themselves (and I'm talking about LiverpoolfuckingAnytime or whatever he likes to be called) and 75% of topics and posts on any given day are about that member, then we can do without it. It goes for Barry as well. He was banned because of his remarks. I’m not favourable over one member than the other. The only reason you lot are arguing is because of these members.

Then tomorrow everything gets back to normal and it's all forgotten about.

As soon as I saw Hoodfella banned, I KNEW that the reason for this was that you wanted to recover the calmness of the forum ASAP. Since Barry was banned and everytime LA posted a fight occurred, I guess you decided that the best thing to do was to ban LA, so that EVERYONE else can discuss.

SO the decission might be right. But as you say it's not easy. I don't call you anything. I understand Johnymac your difficult position of mod (that's why I don't want to be mod), and you all have my support. I just wanted to give some thoughts. For me, the best thing would be to reach a REAL consensus, and allow both Barry and LA posting under some rules, for instance, avoid any not LFC related posting.

If LA hadnt have come back then Barry wouldnt have got a mention, no one would have argued over these two.
Barry was banned for being racist and rightly so but LA was just as bad if not worst than Barry.

, from the distance I see all this with sadness, because I see it "coldly". It's difficult to be "cold" when someone has said anything about your city or your country CGGY, or when a noble policeman is killed by a foreigner, because those are values and feelings that we have well Benitez, sorry, beneath us. LA failed to know this and discussed things when it was not the proper time, but normally he's a nice chap. He smokes pot, true, but well, so do I sometimes!, and I'm an engineer and speak 3 languages

(besides, pot is nothing when half the youth sniffs cocaine, sadly, hope it doesn't happen there aswell, but it worries me a lot)

Well. to end this from my part, SORRY MODS, I didn't want to cause trouble. And to everyone else, I appreciate your posts a lot, and nothing changes, but I had to say my view.

so i'm guessing Barry is still banned then

??........Barry and Karim have both being friends with me,Karim sent me a really decent message of goodwill in the summer and Barry has too, many times.Myself and Barry also share the same sense of humour.I saw the things Karim posted about Liverpool and its people and to be honest although he has been ok with me,i was surprised he wasnt banned then especially with being on a Liverpool forum.Barry also made comments towards asians and again he was equally wrong but to be honest in this world where everything is pc crazy.......you cant say a :censored:

Exactly.

To be honest, you can't have an opinion on things these days especially if its one that goes against the majority. My opinion on racism is its a one way thing. If i went into a police station and accussed someone of calling me something it'd get laughed at.

At the end of the day though this is a forum and people should be allowed to put there views across on any subject aslong as its explained and not a deliberate insult aimed at someone.
