Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Hey, Last month i pre-ordered one of the limited edition commerative shirts as a present for a friend. I was told it would be here by New Year. Every time i phone to see what has happened with it, i keep getting told different stories as to when I will be receiving it. Is anybody else in a similar position? As I am not a Liverpool fan I was just wondering does this often happen with your merchandise, as it has not been delt with well at all.
Thanks.

if you got it from ebay, then i'm not surprised. If its from the shop, then ask to speak to the manager (not rafa) :D

where did you order it from??

They have completely sold out in the shop as well as the gold lettering for half the squad.

I hate dealing with christmas orders and post. Not to mention credit cards and authorising this confirming that.

I feel your pain my friend.

That LFC shop in the centre of liverpool was a shambles when I was in there the other day

Quite funny to watch actually.

The Liverpool ordering system is absolutely :censored:. You couldn't order the euro shirt 'til after it had been released in the shop on the internet but you could order it over the phone (via feckin' Bombay) and 'cos the operators CAN'T speak fluent English they really bolloxed up my surname (I'm surprised i actually got it). As for the shop in Williamson Sq. you go in there most of the time and it looks like Osama and his boys have been in there doing a bit of practice - it can be disgraceful half the time and getting served always takes forever as they only ever have about 2 people serving and they spend more3 time printing shirts than serving customers.

Pull yer socks Liverpool 'cos at the moment you couldn't organise a piss up in a carlsberg brewery.

As for your order CLAIRE26 i'd be surprised if you don't get a letter from them in the near future saying that unfortunately they won't be able to supply you with your commemorative shirt (whether it's the boxed one from the final or the Euro. shirt) 'cos as far as i have heard they have both sold out completely.

This obvioulsly isn't helping Liverpool promote themselves in a very good light and IMO they really need to get someone in to organise the retail side of the club merchandise 'cos it REALLY is a shambles at times.

Yes I ordered mine online on the 19th as a crimbo present for my cousin, it was said they would get it here for new year too. Still has not came. I'm going to contact the club about it. I've never had a problem with the ordering service before. Christmas post or not it's unacceptable.
