this is not as crazy as you think

forget cisse-- go for becks

WHY?
1) he's got to come home

2) fa would love it think for sven

                         owen     heskey

xxx           gerrard     murphy(was on team)    beckham

carragher              xxx            xxxx                 xxxx

                                kirkland

he has a national practice all year

3) exposure to more worldwide market-- trust me beck's makes news even over here-- shirts and tv rights

4) ability to WIN and attract better players

5) board could show it's serious

6) most important-- p#ss off man u fans

CONS:
1) cost-- boy would it hurt but it would be fun-- kinda like the mccallan 25 after my divorce

obviously gh would have to go as part of the deal. but in reality it is possible- why can't we go up against chelsea-- i remember they we hurting before roman and even he can't have unlimited funds -- remember there's 50 million available (but very improbable) BUT if moores doesn't need the 50 he might have enuff

perfectly aware of my delusions but just want to win

 ince was always one of my favorites and still is

chelsea have been in contact re: buying his contract-- remember posh and kids are in london and he needs to save and/or appear to have a real marriage for his marketing

i can't see him going back to man u therefore only chelsea and lfc can offer what he wants-- big national stage-- arsenal have money/stadium issues

Only one English club can afford to buy out his contract clause worth 100m....is Chelsea.

There is no WAY that Arsenal can afford to buy him at all, they just bought new stadium and their debt is 250m!

Liverpool havn't got the money to buy Beckham.

:p i can't agree more at 100 m, but think of this-- he was bought for eastern market penetration-- the "problems" seriously affect this-- therefore his value falls-- say it gets really bad and he becomes basically unmarketable in the east, the 100 m is irrelevant-- if his play falls due to the "problems" then he may be gotten cheaper-- what is that-- i don't know

i know i am dreaming and there are alot of ifs but gh has wasted at least 50 m therefore say less than 30-40 for becks would be a steal-- gh can waste that much in a heartbeat-- thats 3 to 4 dufuses

and yes i know it can't happen but..........

:D whatever you are on..i want some.

you may not even be in the champions league next season, whereas Beckham is on a fortune on real madrid, he has the lifestyle of a goddess, what does scouseland offer for him? free dole? only joking, but seriously, u couldn't afford his wages, his transfer fee, his lifestyle.

Keep this between us but I've heard he's talking to Geoffrey Richmond about joining Leeds next year.  Ronaldo and Zidane also want to join with him.

Ridiculous perhaps, but you started it.

Even if he joined he wouldn't win the premiership single handedly, he isn't Henry or Zidane!

I think Beckham is way over-rated. Beside's his free kick ability, the next best quality is his work rate. He's more concerned about how he look's, i would rather see someone none femanine.

We dont need some scum reject, what we need is young hungry players who will die for the club not some overpaid pussy.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

if we are gonna buy someone a with a bit more experience, why nto Mendietta? Personally i wouldnt want Beckham, great player but not a liverpool player ina  million years. Get Dawson in defense and someone in central midfield, if not mendietta then someone with passion for us, nto just football

yeah he's a great free kick taker i'll give him that. i still think stevie g is just as good a crosser of the ball and a better passer though.
