Shearer gets away with far worse week in week out. pheraps the FA should waste their time looking at that instead of this nothing incident.

And how come the FA can investigate players, incidents etc....but can't haul the refs before the panel ? After the Boxing Day faux paus by several refs i.e. Baros handball MISED by Rilet, Terry handball missed at Stamford Bridge, Izzet's second yellow for NOT appealing for a penaly !!!

the latest is gerrard might get a three match ban its in the telegraph, i cant see it happening though press talk the link

I missed the Finnan trip

I only spotted it bacuse Bowyer went down so easily and it still looked legit, then I saw the slightest movemnet from Finnan and I realised what I had seen.

I actually want to give Shearer a rap, he st :censored:

up for his teammate in Bowyer because he was surrounded by red shirts, I think Gerrard cam in a bit hard on Shearer and probably deserves a yellow card. I also think Shearer did well in stopping Luque from hassling the ref and escorting Bowyer off. I think his conduct in that situation was correct for a captain. Sheaer was the only Geordie who helped protect one of his own, while the Reds exemplified their closeness.

To sum up, only the Reds and Shearer showed how teammates should act in a tussle like that.

steve than started strangilng shearer for a second or two! i was the first time ive seen lfc players in a mass fight for ages!
