Just an incredible year in terms of LFC ....whee do you start !!!!!!!

For me personally I'd go for the CL Semi Final against Chelsea at Anfield. I wasn't able to make Istanbul due to illness although i'd bene to every CL game leading up to the final.

Against Chelsea at Anfield it became the "St Etienne" for my generation as the KOP went into 12th man mode as Shankly famously caled it. Just an incredible night in terms of atmosphere, 96 minutes of a cacophony of noise and passion I've never experienced before .....

Add to this the tumultuous events of May 25th, the last gasp winner by Mellor against Arsenal and the Merseyside Derby at Anfield and it brings down the curtain on an incredible year as a supporter of liverpool Football club ......

Walk on ...............

P.S. To give the thread balance lets not forget the FA Cup Tie at Burnley, i was there as well ...twice !!!!!!!!!!

For me personally the highlight was against Juve at Anfield, we totally bossed one of the best teams in Italy around the park, went into work the next day and they were talking about it, "Champions of Europe" I said, I knew deep down back then that we were going to win it and it's been a long long time since I felt like that about liverpool and anything, I'd even say I'd have to go back to the eighties.

25th May - hasn't sunk in yet.

oh the final in istanbul is my highlight of the year by a longshot. This run of 8 straight wins we are on is another highlight. Not much more i can say about 2005 in football terms from what i can rememba right now anyway
