i've heard good things about Kompany and would welcome him to Liverpool FC.  He's a good player for the future and would be a superb long term replacement for Hypia.

he couldn't play against liverpool during the champions league because he was blessed but he scored the only goal of anderlecht in this champions league....

Last year he received the price of best player in belgium and he's going to receive it this year or to be in the 3bests

Another very good player is christian whillemson...Another anderlecht's player who plays at right winger

Hmmmm, nice to see there's still places in the world in which a centre back can still receive a best player award. It certainly doesn't happen often in world football.

Unless we manage to sell some players that not in Rafa' plan then we could have more 10m.

Liverpool madman, 10m to spend come on you muppet, we will have prob closer to 20m to spend wheather rafa spends it all remains to be seen. But kompany alone will be close to 9m. Then a right winger with a few players departing i feel so roll on a couple of weeks and we will all see our latest recruits........

Rubbish Madman.

Chelsea may not want him, and even if they do he may want to come to Liverpool ahead of Chelsea. Transfers aren't just an open and shut case of who bids the highest amount for a player, the player has a lot of discretion. That's one of the reasons many people were a little bitter about Owen going to Newcastle.

I still think if it had been any year, but a world cup year he wouldnt have gone to Newcastle but stayed at Madrid until the summer and come back home to Liverpool then.
