First point, thank you, mate.

Second point, What an excellent technical gesture when volleying of Crouch. Volleying is complicated.  if you lean back it goes to row Z, if you lean on front, you might "eat" the ball (sorry mates, lack of footie vocabulary here), you must be very accurate to do a good volley.

And Crouch did. So those who thought he was not a striker, they'd better watch this goal 100 times as a punnishment

Gerrard's goal was so sweet... simply for the fact that it's such a hard shot to make. Connection has to be perfectly timed and his was! Well done Stevie.... more please!!
:D
Crouch's goal also was wicked. It definitely takes technique to score a goal like that, and of course his height helped him get it while it was still high.
Thanks for the videos champ...appreciated also from a fan who could not watch the match. :)

The Gerrard interview is quality. :D :D

You know when you speak you say, "Yeah, we're looking forward to the final and we'll go away and prepare now for that game."

Well, when you're out there in the Far East, you automatically start speaking like the natives.  I've done it myself when I was on holiday in Thailand.  Stevie G does it here in this interview.

Say this to yourself, this is how he was saying the above sentence.

"Yeah, we look forward to final and we go away and prepare now for game."

I swear, when I was in Thailand, that's how I used to order food and everything, missing words out and stuff so they could understand me!!!!  My Scouse is probably as thick as Stevie G's as well!!!!  Quality stuff that!!!

  :D

Gerrard scored a cracking goal.

Sao Paulo was in disarray when Alitthiad pressured them late in the game, a more organised side would surely have scored against them. Their striker, Amuroso looks quality, his goalscoring goalkeeper does not!

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.        BILL SHANKLY
