Hi u all again. I've just heard on the radio that Sinama Pongolle will play for Betis on loan till the end of this season due to the good relationship between Rafa Benitez and Serra Ferrer. Do you know if it's true? What do you think about this player? Thanks. :;):

I would seriously consider loaning Pongolle out if he can get plenty of games with betis. I love his hold-up play and the fact that he is capable of the unexpected.His dribbling is top notch too.

I believe that loaning him out to Betis, would not only improve our chances of being first in the queue for joaquin, but would vastly improve and sharpen Pongolle's game.

Anyway Betis1907, football is not full of money as it used to be when the digital TV boom, Don Manué should consider a good offer from Liverpool...

I'm completelly sure Betis is not going to sell any player now. Betis supporters are so furious with the transfers policy of don Manué, because we all expected to grow as a club this year with our qualification for the CL, the attendance to our stadium uses to be 50,000 and we have signed mediocre players except Rivera and Miguel Angel. If he sells Joaquín, I think it will be the end of don Manué in Betis presidency. I don't know next summer, but right now Betis has enough liquidity and the last we need is to sell our best player.

By the way, it's said Helder Postiga will also arrive to Seville to sign Betis. Did he play well in Hotspurs?

As a supporter I understand your point, don't talk to me about transfer policies, we've passed from having a CL team to a 8 youngster team due to our ex president

that bought his place at the LFP :angry:

He did and he was absolutely terrible. Useless. Mind you he did score for Portugal against England in the Euro's which was a bit of a shock. TBH I think English football just didn't suit the fella but he looked garbage and if your team have paid any more than 1million euros for him then I think you have been ripped off.

Strange that it's Betis he's been linked with? I don't think so. More likely to be paper talk due to a lack of real stories.

It's said we're going to pay 500,000 € for the loan. But you know, right now media has no news and, at least here in Spain, the love link players to teams. They also say we are negociating with Kleber (Dimano Kyiv), Deivid and Liedson (Sporting)... Thanks for the info.

Helder Postiga was rubbish at Tottenham although I'm not sure whether he was given a fair chance there.

Was it not the case that he was signed by Glenn Hoddle who then left?

The Spanish media has just published that LFC and Betis have reached an agreement for Sinama Pongolle to play for Betis till the end of this season. Does he use to play on the left side or as second forward (I don't know if this expression is correct...)?
