With having Bravo TV on sky digital, they show UFC fights and the Ultimate Fighter competition.
Now im hooked on it, its better than boxing and these guys must be the biggest athletes in the world today, 99% of them are trained in at least two martial arts styles and they train for about 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Heres a UFC Hall of Famer and Ultimate Fighter Season 1 coach Chuck Liddell(who can hit nearly as hard as me!) :D

Coutore and Liddell are legends.
Rich Franklin and Matt Hughes are also class acts, ones to look out for are some who came from the Ultimate Fighter 1 & 2, fighters like season 1 winners Forrest Griffin and Diego Sanchez and from season 2 Rashad Evans and Joe Stevenson.
Another fighter i havent heard much of who came from Ultimate Fighter Season 1 is Alex Schoenauer, he was beaten by Forrest Griffin in the Ultimate Fighter, but id love to see him fight in the UFC, hes not the largest light heavyweight around but ive never seen anyone fight like him, he doesnt defend himself, he just goes for it, throws his fists everywhere when Griffin fought him he needed stitches in both eyebrows
Heres a picture of him to jog peoples memories who have never heard of him, hes got a better punch than me!

its good alright. I am surpised by the low number of fights and that the top guys lose a lot e.g. 9-4 is considered excellent, in boxing it means your a decent journeyman and will probably fight Audley Harrison (well, if your small and 38)

Tank Abbott was a alehouse fighter but a good one at that, his opponents would sometimes leave on stretchers after fighting that guy.

Tank was poor. A good fighter would bring him to the ground (where Tank couldn't wrestle) and choke him out.

He appealed to beer guzzling yanks as he fought like they do (i.e. looked unskilled - although he had boxing skills)

He had power tho. I remember him hitting a guy on the mat and the guy just stiffened up.I think in many of his fights too he has been unlucky like when he faced Don Frye he slipped and other times he hadnt even trained and just took the fight at short notice. He did start off with a good reputation and then lost too many against guys he shouldve beat. The same could be said of Mark Coleman,he did win a few events but in his last few he has tired too quicky.
I understand what you mean when you say about the records, but when you consider this impact stuff its as easy to lose as to win -one mistake from either man and its goodnight josephine. But its great to watch. Sometimes you think the guy on top is winning and the Gracie style opponent underneath pulls a choke or ankle lock and its tap tap tap.

I think thats why Alex Schoenauer loses half of his fights, hes like Tank he just goes in there and doesnt defend himself, hes probably one of the hardest hitters in Ultimate Fighting, you wouldnt beat him standing up, so most Ultimate Fighters just try and take him to the ground, on the ground Schoenauer is a fish out of water, he cant defend himself then he ends up getting KO'D or Submitted.
Chris Leben is a good fighter though I wish someone would knock the ugly redheaded c.unt out as he is a arrogant tw@t :suspect:

Is Chris Leben the guy that was on the reality TV training thing (that guy put his fist through glass in a temper and tore all the flesh from his knuckles, cried after every defeat)
