Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby red37 » Sat Nov 26, 2005 4:32 am

im pleased adidas will be involved with liverpool again.
one thing id LOVE to see is a redo of the old crest..just the simple plain liverbird with liverpool football club under it. of course with 5 stars over the top.
no offence at all meant to hillsborough whatsoever. but the current badge is too 'fiddly' if you know what i mean, it used to stand out more and the colours in it now are (rap. as i said obviously its a badge with significant meaning and as such probably shouldnt be altered. but the old one was just right.....jeez ill be asking for hitachi back next!!

:D

You could use manhatton's idea to remember the Hillsborough victim's ( one flame on the back just under the collar ).

However the name Reebok will remain. The same will happen to Puma and Nike. I don't know why you're happy...Monopoly sucks!

The two will stay seperate brands, just that it makes sense with Reebok doing so well in America and Adidas in europe.

I would also like the green taken out of the badge and replaced with red.

I like the 1996 shirt that Sid James posted and the fake one that AB posted.

Both very nice.

It really worries me about your mental state that you refer to yourself in the third person.

As far as i've heard which was a few months ago when this first came out, Reebok is going te remain our kit manufacturer and Adidas are just goin to take the profits. Only when the deal comes to an end with Reebok will there be any possible change.

Can't agree with you on that one jonny - that has got to be one of the worst home kits we've ever had. I agree that adidas are making some nice kits at the moment but their last few liverpool one were absolute 5hite. The last quality red one they made was this one:

It isn't the best one we've had but it is one of my favourites.

Here is the original shirt that garymac is using for his signature
and what the mock up is based on, i've been hoping for ages that we'd bring a new kit out with the pinstripes (just ask WRIGHTY NOT MARK!) as i think it brings a touch of class back to the shirts.
