I know that we don't need players in those midfield positions and we have other priorities such as a new defender and a new right winger but I feel Ballack could be an exeption.

We could use him in other positions that he is acomplished at such as an OMF, RW and DMF. He can fill in a number of positions.

He would add a new dimension to our game, would be very influencial and hes versitile.

Maybe something like this:

Finnan Hyypia Carragher Troare/Riise

Hamann

Gerrard Alonso

Ballack

Cisse Crouch

I read that he said Man U is not reaching his potential and he wants to go to a club with high European Ambition, we are just that club. We won the fecker.

On the other hand get rid of dead wood such as Josemi, heard Seville are intrested.

Should make our team full of high class players.

ballack is good yes. and i reckon he could have filled in for gerrard if he had of gone to you know where....however alongside gerrard i feel the two wouldnt compliment each others similarities and would clash.

Pointless thread .We don't need him , won't be moving for him .
If he does come to the prem, expect him to be wearing a Man U or Arsenal shirt .

it would be interesting to see why some say we dont need?, he is a top class player, but would come with a big price tag, but it wasnt so long ago we paid millions for the likes of heskey and diouf !!

I dont think Ballack would be an expensive mistake

It's more about priorities Judge . There are other areas of the team where what money we have could be spent more effectively . Thats not knocking Ballacks ability but I think the generel concensus is that flanks and defence are our priorities at present .

Hmmm..Maybe! But then Chelski have Essien and Lampard, and as we know, it works good for them. Ballack is class and would improve any team, especially now that Hamann is pushing on (I know, I know, still abso brill! but pushing on). Would depend on price! Defo worth a bid though!

centre mid is the one place we dont need to buy anyone. we got hamman, sissoko, alonso and stevie g...

come on people, think before you type. we dont wanna buy a player just for the hell of it. keep the dimensions we have, we need wingers and a centre defender.
