We have better options on the left and as forwards. If Rafa wants him on the right its a bad abd move as He cant play as RW. Whereas if Rafa plans to use Zenden on the Right and Kewell on the left its still a bad move as we have a better winger Riise waiting to fire shots.

I personally reckon Rafa is promoting Kewell's departure. Telling the whole world that Kewell is fit again and is a good player.. bla bla..bla... Hoping someone will be interested with Kewell so Liverpool  can sell him off.

???

Way off the mark. Benitez rates Kewell[played him in the CL final and scouted him when he was at Leeds]. Kewell is better than Riise and Zenden combined

Wrong. Riise would be best as a wingback however we don't use the formation that would allow him to play in that position[3-5-2]

No, I'm right, Riise is a left back!

If Riise is a natural LB then I'm Pele himself.

I refuse to support the leach.

He has to earn support. He had about 9 or 10 chances and i'm sick of it. He's lost my support and alot of other peoples. He will never get back to his best.

Give him a chance, give him time... Over two years lads, how much time does he deserve?

After three months i thought we had a superb player, 10 goals or 9 goals and some excellent performances, since then he's lost pace, skill, confidence and attitude.

The way he feins injury all the time and doesn't play because of the slightest of knocks is a disgrace.

He has ALOT of work to do to earn some respect back, if he doesn't perform, i'll pay for his flight back to austrailia.

Get it sorted Harry, or :censored: off. NO excuses.

I've got to agree with Stu on this one. Kewell is one of the most frustrating signings we have had in recent times (no, not the worst) because we have seen in a Leeds shirt how he can rip defences apart and cause absolute havoc. It really does rankle with me that he can't do it for the reds.

Harry, this season is your last chance. Use it well.

Don't discount the effect injuries have on players. Cruyff retired at 28(?) through injury, and he was one of the all time greats.

We'd all give Gerrard or JC the benefit of the doubt. Why not Kewell?

I know he comes across as an idle little sod sometimes, but how would you run if your groin ligament was about to snap in two?

Think about it.

And what have those players got to do with Kewell? Do you honestly believe that he is in that category in terms of class?

I don't take too kindly the fact that our club is paying him 75k a week for sitting on his ar*e doing sod all. It is time he justify's that wage this season, or it's bye-bye

Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Harry Kewell will travel with the Liverpool squad to Brussels for Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Anderlecht.
Kewell has not figured for the first team since limping out of the Champions League Final against AC Milan in May with a groin injury.

His comeback was then delayed due to a hernia operation during the summer but Benitez is delighted to now have the Aussie winger back in his plans.

"Harry is feeling much better now. He will definitely be travelling with us and could maybe play some part, we will have to assess his fitness before the game," says the boss.

"If he doesn't figure against Anderlecht then I am sure he will be back playing either at the weekend or the following midweek.

"His return will be a big boost for us. He is the kind of player who can beat players and get in crosses from the by-line from which the likes of Peter Crouch and Fernando Morientes can benefit."

"I know Harry can do this. When I arrived at Liverpool, I brought with me the memory of once seeing Harry play against Manchester United for Leeds at Old Trafford and he was fantastic.

"Leeds lost the game, but he gave Jaap Stam a lot of problems, and that is the Harry Kewell I want to see playing for Liverpool."

Benitez pleaded for Liverpool fans to give Kewell time to find his feet again.

I hope Rafa isnt being serious with that statement no one has seen that Harry for atleast 3 years.
