at centre half,he has been the centre half for the last four years and real,s defensive displays have been woeful in that time,he is a better player playing in his natural holding midfield role,but he still wouldn,t get in our team playing cb or in d midfield,let the bitters buy him

Helugera is more of a midfielder type of player, most of the real success was played with helugera and makelele in the defensive midfield position, but when he shifted into a central midfielder he struggled a bit. i agree that we rather have a young center back, maybe upson because he is fast and a good battler of the ball.
