I thought we didnt play too bad tonight but i can see that we need both sided wingers left and right and i think we will defo challenge for honours we controleld alot of the game but gave the ball away a little because we were forced to passing the ball into the centre where it was very crowded in my opinion i jsut think when we sign to quality wingers hopefully joaquin and gonzales ( from what i have heard) and our 1st team will do very well. Also i thort alonso played well tonight proving them people who said he was :censored: cant rememebr who but he controleld everything and made a few nice tackles to , best signing liverpool have made in last decade id go on a limb to say!

Not bad however on Sunday when we are given set-pieces then we should use them better than we did today. Could had done a lot better as far as attacking is concerned but ''not bad''.

I thought we played well defensively, but we look very amatuer going forward. We don't seem to play as a team when going forward - the players just don't seem "in sync" with each other.
Didi proved once again that he is made for this sort of game. Play him against Fulham/West Brom/Villa etc and he fails to shine. Play him against Milan/Arsenal/Juve etc and he is world class.
I think we need to do away with this 4-5-1 though. Crouch is isolated, and although he did hold up play, there is no-one there for his flick-ons. We need to play Cisse alongside him to see the best of both players.
And finally, can anyone tell me why Gerrard is so :censored: against Chelsea. I'll probably get slated for this, but I don't think he should be our captain. He spent most of the match with his head down, and he doesn't motivate those around him.

Better than not bad.Chelsea looked decidedly mortal tonight.Infact they looked scared.Mourinho obviously takes Liverpool a bit more seriously than the British media does.

Good game, and I'd put this game as example of how a 0-0 game can be exciting.
I think that if we scored on min 90 we'd be talking about an outstanding display, so I'd say this have been a good Liverpool game. Better than the Betis one if you ask me.

I thought Crouch and Alonso were our best players tonight. Alonso has started to show his form again, although theres some way to go yet.
