Just one post from RAWK how the real die hards feel about this glory hunting and rightly so. :buttrock

For The Attention Of: All you f@cking annoying little gloryhunting tw@ts.

Get the f@ck off it.

I was going to leave this and let it lie, being the kind gentleman you know I am. As yer probably know, if you know me either merely on these boards or in person, I'm someone who's pretty easy going and doesn't get wound up about much. I rarely say anything controversial on RAWK, so forgive me if I :censored: a few of yer off but I think I deserve a rant. Nothing personal but I, myself, am rather :censored: off at the moment.

I was slightly apprehensive when ticket details were announced for Chelsea in the European Cup, you know, the trophy we won last season? However, I quickly shook it off. "It'll be all right" I said, "anyone who wants a ticket will get one, so no worries". On saying that, I did want to get down there early today so I could get my usual spec. Yes, in IS in... but I wouldn't mind 202. Of course, dickhead here slept in, woke up around half 6. "No worries" I told myself. After all, for Chelsea last season, it wasn't that much of a queue down the road.

So I saunter down the ground. I see a few familiar faces near the front, although I didn't stop at the risk of being accused of queue pushing. However, as I walk down, I also see people who I've never seen in my life. Okay... so Anfield is a pretty big f@ckin' place, obviously I won't recognise 2% of those who go the match. But - and stop me if I'm being judgemental - yer can just TELL sometimes when people aren't used to this football match malarky. My fears were confirmed yer hear those people saying things like "I've never seen a queue like this in my life"

That's probably because yer weren't here for Chelsea, like most of us were, bellend. Of course, he might have got them on the phone or online, but surely - especially as he was pretty near the front of the queue - he had queued with far more people in front of him. Oh well, I walked past shielding my eyes, as 300 brand new, shiny, "issued in July 2005" fan cards reflected the sun into them. Then I walked around the corner, then halfway down Skerries Road, yet again passing people who probably wondered what the huge f@cking building was they were standing by.

To be fair, the people I was nearby seemed decent fans and had attended the games. It was too early to rant though, so I just stood there and thought about shagging Cheryl Tweedy. The ticket office also made it bearable as they moved the queue along EXTREMELY quickly and fair do's to them. People were still walking past though, who looked as if they'd never stood in a queue in their life. One bloke walked straight across the car park, not realising the queue spiralled. Yeah, he's obviously queued before, hasn't he?

As I said in another thread, I got my tickets so I can't complain, hence why I postponed the rant, although I came close when I heard some bloke a few in front ask the guy at the window "would you recommend the Kop, what is it like in there?" - and no, I'm not making it up. I really wish I f@ckin' was, but I'm not. So I actually come home in a decent mood, until I logged onto here.

So, excuse me for a second, whilst I try to figure this out. Some smackhead/tout (mutually exclusive?) with ten fan cards can stand in line and pick up ten tickets. Some fella dressed in attrocious attire (keep sh.it clothes scouse) and obviously was in awe of the place - and that was just f@cking queing beside it!! - can pick up a ticket, dead centre of "oooo The Kop, thats THE PLACE TO BE INNIT". Just f@ck off.

100,000 fan cards were sold post Istanbul.

Where were yer for Graz?
Where were yer for Monaco?
Deportivo?
Olympiakos, even?
Leverkusen?

Luckily by this time last season, yer could basically scratch the glory-hunting tw@ts off the list for loyalty as Juve and Chelsea were sold out before it went to general. So this is to all the bandwaggon hoppers:

Yes, I understand people cannot make matches sometimes, but christ, gee whizz and golly gosh... don't yer think it's AMAZING how many people want fan cards now we're the European Champions? Isn't it amazing how many people queued up today?!? Not to mention rung the phones and bombarded the phone lines.

So here's a message to all of yer who purchased fan cards after Istanbul, sat on yer @rses hitting redial or refresh, because "you want to see the European Champions play a big match" and in the process, have taken tickets away from three GOOD fans who have been there through both the good, and the bad... not to mention countless others who I don't personally know.

F@ck off. No matter how many tickets you get this season, yer know what? You'll never recapture the magic of last season. Sorry to be Mr Pessi-tw@ttin-mistic, but even if we go on to win in Paris, we will NOT have Olympiakos, we will NOT have "rockin all over the world" at Leverkusen, no Rafa in the pub, no Garcia 25 yarder and the emotion of Juventus, no Gudjohsen shot, no You'll Never Walk Alone as emotional as that night, no ISTAN F@CKING BUL. So even if people who went through that personally last season, have to watch Chelsea, Anderlecht (haha yeah right, not big enough) or Betis (pfft, please, they aren't Chelsea) at home, they'll still carry more f@cking memories than you ever will in yer measly gloryhunting existance!

The price of success, indeed. W@nkers.

Great read Ciggy, but I must say that 1234spam overshadowed Your post with his brilliant input.

I wish I'd be some time in the future as 1234spam, as I'm not worthy to be in the vicinity of such brilliant minds I decided to leave the forum and go to Tibet to mediate and reach the level of 1234spam.

GOODBYE :(

"me gyal works for liverpool so its well good get free tickets she leaving soon still she wants to do hairdressing  she got qualifications in that she worked at liverpool for like 3 years"

then in the next breath

" if there any buff gyalz in the forum that ticket i got a spare ticket going but you have to be buff "

how nice to see how much you think of your gyal ( is that even a word ? )she gets you tickets so you can offer one to a "buff" gyal. than again after reading that rubbish i dont think loyalty is one of your finer points. :no
