I am in need of some help, a winfix popup will not feck off, I have to delete the following keys but don't know how, can anyone help?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\lgbibsn
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\msbb
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\tov
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\sais
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\saie
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\180ax

Reboot your system then:

Make sure you click start --> Run and type in msconfig. Then select the startup tab.
Any references to the processes below should be deleted

End Processes (may or may not exist):
180ax.exe
jkill.exe
msbb.exe
saap.exe
sais.exe
salm.exe
silent.exe

if you use winxp, the easiest way is to restore the system to a latest date where things still okay with your PC

1. First of all - kill all suspicious processes :
180ax.exe
jkill.exe
msbb.exe
saap.exe
sais.exe
salm.exe
silent.exe

CTRL+ALT+DELETE, Processes Tab, and step by step right click the mentioned processes and then choose kill process (or something like it - I don't have an English OS)

2. Now the tricky part

START -> RUN -> type in "regedit"
You must find the followin registry entries and delete them. Be carefull what You delete, because if You delete something else it can mess up Your PC

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\lgbibsn
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\msbb
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\tov
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\sais
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\saie
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\180ax

3. And lastly:

START -> RUN -> msconfig,

go to the last tab, and uncheck all the names of processes You've killed in step nr 1.

Then Click OK, reboot, and You should be free of this adware.

And by the way, I'd recommend Linux for future (no such worries here) :D

Just saw that You can miss the step 2 part, because the 3 point covers it in some way

If you have a legal windows XP copy, try Windows defender, it's from the same guys that made Giant antispyware.

And if everything else fails, use "Hijack this". You can remove whatever you want with that, even not spyware add-ons such as the printer's and adobe pdf ones, if you know well what you have or you haven't this is the best option.

IF the problem is related not with processes that hijack the browser but run at the beginning, try "autoruns", it makes a thorough analysis of what's loaded (even windows services) and what's not, and you can select it with a single click in a checkbox.

Fookin hell - just spent the last 3 (yes, count em, 3) hours removing ahem, 24 virus' and trojans from my PC!

I've just used AVG Anti virus - you can probably get it free from their website - I got it free from this month's PC Gamer magazine.

Fooking horses......

Try a decent system.
Winblows is a tragic ar.se hole for viruses to get in. I'm free from M$ products for some months and loving it :D
Linux is the answer, no viruses, no spyware, no anti-piracy check (bacause it's FREE !!), no worries, heck, you can even browse por.n pages without a worry that some trojan will get to Your PC
