MINT!!  :D

From Sky Sports:

Villarreal goalkeeper Mariano Barbosa has launched an astonishing attack on Everton ahead of their UEFA Champions League qualifier, declaring that The Toffees are "a bunch of animals and they are not worth a thing."

The Argentinian keeper was shocked by the physical approach of the home side as the Spanish outfit recorded a vital 2-1 home leg win on Merseyside.

The two sides meet again on Wednesday in a bid to reach the lucrative group stages of Europe's most prestigious competition, and Barbosa has upped the ante by pulling no punches in his assessment of David Moyes' men and the Goodison Park crowd.

"I have never been beaten up as badly as by Everton," said Barbosa. "Not even when I was in the playground at school."

"My head was cut open and I was left swearing, but I don't know at who.

"After the game my entire body ached. My shin, my chest, my thigh, you name it and it hurt.

"I had expected Everton to bombard my area with high balls but I never believed they would go in for such close contact.

"I came out to make a catch in the first half and I was hit with a terrible blow, that made me angry and I then realised it was a case of kill or be killed.

"But I had to be careful about it, their supporters were very gentle - I don't think.

"They swore at me a lot, even though I could understand very little of it.

"I saw them doing something strange, making v-signs with their fingers and I asked 'are they looking for peace and love?'

"Diego Forlan, who used to play for Manchester United, explained that they were saying 'f*** you' to us.

"Although we won the first leg 2-1 we are not yet through, the second leg will be a battle and I am going to get stuck in.

"Everton are a bunch of animals and they are not worth a thing."
