Cisse can definitely f##k off if he can't even decide whether or not he wants to play for us. My money's on Kluivert, even if we get one good season out of him.

Otherwise maybe Kanoute but not so sure about Robbie Keane - he's good but not world class which is what we need if we're ever gonna aim higher than 4th

we have sufficient strikers at anfield (if owen does not leave) even though Heskey leaves.

Owen
Baros
Pongolle
Mellor
La Tallec (can play in the hole)
Diouf (really think if he had played as striker from the beginning, might have turned out better).

We need to buy a right winger (malbranque from fulham or alan amith who can play right winger) & a pacy centreback (Dawson or Mexes).

We should solve the problem areas first before splashing big money on strikers.

We could do with a cash injection and pinch Duff from Chelsea. He's getting more and more pis*ed off with the squad rotation.

Of that list only Owen, Baros & Pongolle are up to the job. I don't think we can bank on Owen staying after this season. Shame about Diouf, he looked class on his Anfield debut but hasn't done a lot since.

Agree about the right wing position although I reckon Diouf could do well down there if he learnt how to cross a ball

yes forgot abt duff.... if only we has duff now........ drooling

                                 Dudek
           Finnan      Carragher     Hyppia       Riise
                                 Hamann
                   Gerrard                       Duff
                                  Kewell
                        Owen                Baros

Can anyone tell me that this is not a championship winning team ?

If Carragher, hyppia & Hamann are on form they can neutralize henry & pires easily. Then leave it to Gerrard, Duff, Kewell, Owen (if he wakes up) and Baros to score the goals.

If only GH did not buy Diouf and Diao, liverpool can easily have bought Duff.

Who Would I buy?

Let me set some criteria first!

1 Proven world class players who can play footabll in any league and have demonstarte that!
2 British based Foreign players who have either played in the premiership or the English, Scottish  League and understand basic english.
3 British, Irish, or any other english speaking player who has shown promise.

Steed Malbranque
Mendieta
Wanye Rooney
Phil Neville
Wiltord
Japp Stam
I'd keep an eye on Beattie because I think he be a perfect partner for Owen
Jermaine Pennant
Alan Smith
Van Der Veart

Smith's good but he' a c#nt. If we're gonna get anyone from Leeds I'd go for Pennant. Is he still on loan from the a#se or have Leeds bought him?

Diouf & Diao cost about the same as Duff. What a waste!

alan smith's on his way to newcastle. he's the guy they want to replace shearer. i'd take viduka from leeds anyday. when his head's in the right place he's as good as anything in the league.

Pennant played well against us this year at Anfield He always wanted to play for Liverpool has been a boyhood fan.  I think he's one for the future but more importantly he do for the present as a left mid.  As For Ronney being overated.

As usual when you write a team down on paper it looks beautiful but in the real world it doesn't work like that. It is the ability to pick out the average players who play close on to 100% most of the time that makes a manager.
A team with ten Peles' would have won bugger all, a team with 10 Tommy Smiths, 10 Martin O'neils, 10 Paul Scholes or 10 Alan Balls (that one sticks in me throat), would stand a chance. The problems are not who we sign but WHO signs them!

Yes Viduka can be awesome when he's on his game but I'm not sure we need someone else at the club with questionable temperament

i'm not bothered about temperament, i'm just bothered about someone who can put the ball in the back of the net. i'll never forget that 4-3 game at elland road when he scored al their goals. he was awesome.
