Have you more or less stopped growing mate?

If not then it can be risky doing weight training while you still have a lot of developing to do, as it can affect your muscle growth adversely.

At 16 you are most probably ok though.

yeah at 16 you should be more or less fully developed I would guess, can't see the harm.
