Cisse didn't complain when he didn't play like Baros did, instead he worked his a## off to recover from his injury that kept him out for more half a season. Imo he has a better mentality than Baros.

So "Keep Milan" is the new clarion call after a couple of decent performances in pre season friendlies is it

Believe or not what you read in those papers but the actions of Benitez is plain for all to see. Left out of any meaningful match so far (i.e. CL Qualifying) speaks volumes.

Like all LFC Players who leave this great club I wish the lad well and IMO one day he might indeed cut it in the Prem when he grows up a bit, but to be perfectly honest I've got bored of waiting to see if he does and wasting my hard earned money watching him throw a tantrum and shake his head before telling anyone who is stupid enough to listen why he should be picked every game when he doesn't score amything like enough goals to justify selection

Ah yes, we left off at Baros is sh1t or something along those lines.

He has talent, he has the ability to score goals[like he has for his country] but when we needed him to put chances away[you can even argue that he's made chances for himself but it all counts for nothing when you don't put them away] he didn't. The same chances he didn't put away for us he did the opposite for his country.

He complained about being substituted[three or four times out of how many games he's played?] and talked about how a player must not stay at one club for too long[said that last summer].

He was in talks with Valencia but because Valencia got a new manager he isn't playing in Spain currently. To me that doesn't sound like a comitted played, I think it's vital that we get players only who want to be here in the long term.

Quite agree with the comments AB.

Fans sometimes forget that we support a special club and I know it may well be a little naive to believe that times don't change and the realtionship between fan and player isn't what is was but why persist with a player who hasn;t delivered where it really matters ......on the pitch

Prior to our pre-season games most people wanted Baros to be sold, there are few who have defended him but all of a sudden due to good pre-season games he's untouchable.

He showed awarness, he showed good link up play and he scored two goals. That's great, but why do it in pre-season when we needed it last season?

If Benitez was sure that Baros would get the job done for us, why did he bench him in the first two games in the CL qualifiers? It shows that if a club places a good bid then Benitez will consider selling him, if Baros was truly vital for us he would had played.

I don't like the comments he's made, I don't think he has the right mentality which what Benitez wants in a player.

His contract is also another problem.
