A.B., I've been around this forum and from time to time been having some banter with peewee, my English friend in my parts of the world, but who I have yet to meet.

I guess you have not been noticing my posts because you have been engaged in some flurry of exchanges on a few fronts here and there.

Back to the topic at hand, there is very little doubt that Baros possess good skills to make him a stand out Liverpool player, but as I have said, he has failed to apply his gifts into his game for far too long and since he is quite marketable and has fallen out of favour with Benithez, the best thing is to sell him. End of.

he may only get 2 this season. you have to be "quick" to battle for the ball up front, as defenders are very quick these days. Baros's effort second half was a perfect example.

Baros plays most of his best stuff with the Czech side along side Jan Koller - any similaritis with Peter Crouch - worth giving it a shot possibly. will Rafa do this or not remains to be seen.
i think Milan has a number of good things in his game - the question is will rafa try and change the team play to accomodate them - i am guessing not and thus baros will go. alternatively, he may well decide that certain games are more suited to milan's qualities - i think away premiership games and champs league away from home too - think he knows how to run the channels, stay on side and stretch the play better than cisse does (don't think PC or FM) can do this for us as its not their game.
i do think we need 4 strikes of whatever variety and one who plays around the box 90% of the time - of our current 'experienced' four i think Milan is the only box player as such so we either keep him or find a very direct replacement. i also think he deserves more of a chance in a 4-4-2 (if rafa wants to play like that) as i think thats when he flourishes, he is not a 4-5-1 player and never will be
think its harsh to look at his goals/game ratio or to say he lacks the quality - in other forums (eurp c'ships, and odd games last year for us) he has shown he can be a complete handful and score with pure natural ability. could well also be a confidence thing and so either he gets the full backing or else it will just hang over him for this season too and so he's unlikely to be able to deliver.

this thread ent about aussie's its about baros.
baros played really well yesterday night. i was well impressed with him, although he did make a few mistakes but who doesn't?
if we keep baros, we will have IMO, 4 quality strikers at disposal that will give us many POSSIBILITIES!
