I know that was aimed at me Woof, you cheeky get  :D

I also think it's not just Baros' work on the field but it's his attitude cos he complains far too much when he doesn't get 90 mins

My post that started this thread was partly tongue in cheek .for me baros was tonight virtually unrecognisable from the player i've seen in the last season ,so much sharper and aware .More performances like tonights and there would have been no debate as to whether (there's that word again  :D ) we should keep him or get rid.
It may not be to late for him to remain at LFC, thats up to Rafa ,but as has already been suggested ,tonights performance  certainly wouldn't have done his transfer fee any harm. Just wish we'd seen this kind of form more often.

Im one of the few that never wanted him to leave.
he makes defenders a bit nervous with his speed, something that crouch will not be able to do.

crouch was a bit of a slouch!

i thought crouch played well in the first half and did exactly what he was bought for - link up play. he was unlucky with a shot that just bounced wide and showed a excellent turn of pace to almost get on the end of a cisse cross when it looked like no one would manage to keep up with cisse at full pelt.
he went on a good run just before the goal and showed good skill levels allround.
there were a lot of other players that played worse than peter but you single him out for having a poor game. that to me says you never wanted him to sign to the extent you are going to critisize him even if he does well. why dont you just give the lad a chance, judge him without bias and prepare yourself for the realisation that you could have been wrong about him coming to the club.

I thought Crouch had a decent debut, and showed a few of the reasons why we bought him.  It will take a while for the team to get used to play with a big man up front just the same as it will take time for Crouch to settle in a team that aren't usually long ball merchants.

He won a few free kicks and headers, and showed good link up at times.  Even went on a mazey run to set up Garcia's goal

Hustler you're dumber than I thought.

You're theories and logics have been incredibly stupid.

Crouch the slouch scored 12 goals in the Premiership, the same league you say has a lot of pace. You don't have to be fast to be a striker, being fast is a plus.

Shearer doesn't have exactly speed but he can definetly put that ball in the onion bag.

Clueless fecker.

Dear Milan,

You worked really hard in the pre-season and got 2 goals v. Wrexham, 1 goal v. Bayer Leverkusen and 2 goals v. Olimpiacos. I will let you stay as long as you sign a new contract. Just don't :censored: about with me man.

                                  Yours Sincerely,
                                                 Rafael Benitez.

P.S Rafa is a bit :censored: now so call back later yeah.

Just because the Prem is fast pace it doesnt mean you have to be a fast striker, like AB said Shearer is a prime example of that........... Comment explained  :p
