No 5 - Who is it ?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby woof woof ! » Sat Jul 23, 2005 8:38 pm

Surely the guy in the no 5 shirt is not Baros .  :p   :D
He's got his head up and seems totaly aware of his team mates position and movement .either it's a new guy looking to cement a first team place or Baros looking to up his transfer fee . Either way whoever he is ( :D ) if he maintains this form we should keep him .

:D

depends if Baros signs a new contract...but i don't think it will get that far, I think Rafa has decided that him and Dudek are no longer needed.

Baros was unrecognisable tonight.  As Woof said he played with his head up and he played some good balls through to Morientes.

For me, there is no question that the guy is talented, and if he keeps up this attitude then he's worth keeping.

i think it is too little, too late for Milan.  He had his chance last season, we don't need players who whine when not picked.  :no

Well well well, I've been defending baros for months, saying keep him he's a valuable player to our team. But the issue comes down to the contract doesn't it if he doesn't sign another contract we let him go now while we can get a price for him but if he does sign a contract great.

In all honesty I think Rafa has made up his mind to sell him already, it probably is too little too late realistically.

If only Baros had shown a bit more of that last year.  He has shown he is a quality player when he wants to be.

Although I said he's worth keeping if he keeps up that attitude, it doesn't mean I think it'll actually happen

Too late! He had loads of chances 2 perform, his inconsistency by far outweighs his talent!it was only a friendly people.Bye milan,Benitez looks like he has his mind made up!
Its a lot easier to perform when ur neck's on the block, and if that's what it takes to motivate the man?Too little, too late!

1 assist 2 goals...what's more you can ask from him...

Baros! Baros! Baros! Let him go will only make us suffer.

I'm not a fan of Milan simply because I believe strikers should score goals, but he did play well.  If Rafa can make him play up to his potential he'll be well worth keeping.  I suppose it's up to Rafa whether he thinks he can get the best out of him in the long season ahead.

No mate! Letting him go will only make room 4 a striker that does his job!SCORES A LOT OF GOALS!Maybe not now but in January?Lets face it between now and Jan we will pay him a lot of money for warming the bench, not to mention the odd time he gets on to run about the pitch like a chicken with no head!its my opinion get rid now!Patience? Has Rafa thought as far ahead as me???A lot further id say! Bye Baros!
