a bottle of co-op spanish lager, you may laugh but it's actually quality beer for the drinker who knows his booze rather than just his labels

Also another nice drink is A double port with a bottle of Blue WKD its called a cheeky vimto, pure quality tastes great and gets u smashed, see im a firm believer in mixing alcohol with alcohol, instead of alcohol and a soft drink....also try turbo Shandys (Half a lager and bottle of Smirnoff ice), a good drink to get as well if u really do wanna throw ye guts up is a BMW this consists of Baileys, Malibu and Whiskey(Doubles if you think your a fuc*in hard case).......Buckets at the ready for that one!!!!

P.S If you couldnt tell i quite like getting p!ssed, and my usual tipple is domestoes with a dash of lime!!!

Yep gotta try that one...........I concur though i mix and match spirits i dont give a feck....They say not to mix dark and clear spirits.....i do it all the time

At present I am drinking a cup of coffee. Earlier I had one of those mini bottles of Heineken.

Usually when I'm out I'll drink pints of Guinness and nothing else, although I'll go onto Vodka and Red Bull after 8 or 9 pints and the stomach gets full of the black soup.

Years ago I drank Aftershock a lot (highly dangerous stuff......it'll probably make you go blind) and once or twice when I was very bold, I had a few nips of Poitin (which did in fact make me go temporarily blind ).

Anyone here ever drink Poitin?

Never heard of it JBG.  What's that other stuff called?  The really dangerous sh!t?  You're only allowed one shot of it a night in some Liverpool bars.  Can't think of the name.

There it's just popped in there!!!!  ABSINTHE!!!  I've never had that.  Anyone ever had that?  Gary surely has!!

I'm actually a fan of Aftershock.  A week or two back, I was in the Jacaranda with my mates on a Friday night.  I'd had a skinful at this point, and me and my mate were at the bar and I ordered two Aftershocks.  It went down too fast though.  As soon as I had drank it, I stepped into the gents, promptly threw my guts up, wiped my mouth with my sleeve and carried on drinking.  I was all the better for it as well.  Cleared my stomach.

Was absolutely rat-ar$ed.

I once went on a trip to Edinburgh with my girlfriend to visit her sister who was living there at the time.

I was drinking those large pitchers of Stella, and after a couple of pitchers I started to feel wasted while we were having our dinner.

My girlfriend then bought me an Aftershock which immediately perked me up and we went to a nightclub somewhere near the Three Sisters Pub. Aftershocks in the pub were only £1.00 that night and I ended up having ten!

When we got back to the hotel I couldn't ly down I was so wired. The next day I probably had the worst hangover ever. I wasn't sick nor did I have a headache, instead I felt meek as a lamb and my girlfriend had to hold my hand all day because I was physically incapable of of making my way through crowds (and I'm 6 foot and 15 stone!).

Aftershocks are crazy, they are about 60% or 70% alcohol and taste like cough syrup.

Absinthe is illegal in the UK and Ireland although I once had a nip of it from a smuggled bottle in college years and years ago. Its green and is strong as , but I only had a quick nip so I don't know how messed up it makes you. I do know that James Joyce and Oscar Wilde drank it and it gave them wild hallucinations....hence why it is banned in many countries.

Finally, Poitin or Poteen, depending on where you are from, is Irish moonshine. Its clear and tastless like Vodka, but have a few shots and it is know to make people go blind or even send them into cardiac arrest.

Pure Poitin is apparently safe, albeit at about 90% prof, but the problem is that impure Poitin is dangerous, hence the reason its illegal.

I haven't heard of anyone having it in recent years but we used to have a bottle in our house at home for special occasions......it was in an old milk bottle and lasted for 20 years   an indication of its fortitude.
