I'm just posting for the fu*king sake as well.  Don't really know what to say.

For the record, I was a good standard centre-back when I played years ago.  I trialled with Blackpool (could have told TJAMES the answer myself then!!!!) when I was 14 years old and I still wasn't good enough even for them, but I could play a bit, I suppose.  No fu*ker was quicker than me over 10-15 yards and I'm 6ft2in.  Just didn't have the luck I suppose.

I played in the same Sunday league as Ste Wright.  We played against each other many a time and I wouldn't have said he had many more qualities than me.  Still a better player than me though (UNDERSTATEMENT).  His advantages were he was spotted at a young age, played in the best side in our Sunday League, (as did Leon's brother who was also spotted for Liverpool at a young age) had that bit of luck you need and was trained in "The Liverpool Way".  He had a better mentality and attitude than me though.

I haven't kicked a ball since August 2000.

Strangely enough, August 2000 was the month I went to Kavos with my mates where I first found out the joys of cheap birds and alcohol, in a sun-blessed atmosphere, so it kind of killed my 'already in rapid decline' football career, and I haven't looked back since.

So the answer for me is Centre back.

I was in Kavos that very summer, and I swear I lost a yard of pace during that one week and was never the same player again :D

Something they put in the drinks in that rolling stone bar i think :)

I'm still persevering as a sunday league striker for the record :)

:censored: I can't remember the dates exactly but I'm pretty sure it was august.

Rolling stone was ridiculous - where a vodka and coke is actually a pint of vodka with a dash of coke!!!!!

Where you there when some punter gave the barman abuse and the barman jumped over the counter and battered the guy in the street??

Fu.cking hilarious mate :D
