lol well.....as some of you know i felt that he was the wrong man for us , but what can i say , he has made me eat my own words , he has learnt a lot this year about the prem but by the team line up at the start of the CL game he still needs to learn a bit more .
i like the guy alot and think he is a great european manager but so far a learning perm manager

Rafa said earlier this week how much he likes being a manager who is total control....why would he give that up to go to Real...a team where the board sign half the players and change their manager like they change their socks!
“You cannot transfer the heart and soul of Liverpool Football Club, although I am sure there are many clubs who would like to buy it.”
You really annoyed me with the Martin O'Neil comments at the start of the season. Glad you've got the balls to turn round and admit you "were a complete fool who doesn't have a clue"
Yeh if Rafa progresses the way he has done this season he will no doubt become the greatest manager in our history...Shankly and Paisley built us up with the presteige of where we are today and let the world witness the greatness of Liverpool FC but they did it with a team that was one of the best in the world. Benitez in his first season with a team that ''on paper'' isnt a world beater takes us to the top of Europe again..The mans a walking god. It was well documented when the original rumours came out that Rafas dad is from Madrid and his dream was to see Rafa manage Real but we've all heard Rafa say himself. The supporters at Liverpool are the best hes ever seen and he wants to be the manager here for 20years....all that before he'd even witnessed the vicory parade
Why would he ever want to go there? No power, no say over who they buy or sell and a fickle president that'll boot him out after four months if they aren't top of the league. Sure they've got the history, but so have we!
