Just got dumped :(  Well not today, it was on Thursday! Sitting in my wee flat on my own getting drunk!!! Feeling really sorry for myself at the moment. Still dont why it happened, probably never will!
Its a cr@p feeling....... I know I will probably get over it, but I thought it was for life! 3 years is a long time.
Has anyone any ideas how to get through this?

Thanks

Sorry kazza, bummer you got dumped :(

Dunno how old you are so don't know how much experience you've got in these type of things but the older you get the more you realise that time is indeed a great healer.

I wish I could tell you some quick-fix guaranteed solution but I'd be lying if I said there was one.

If I had to offer one bit of advice I'd say "stay busy" - do all sorts just to keep your mind busy with other stuff and sooner rather than later you'll look at things and think it's not so bad after all  :)

Oh yeah, and booze is always good from time to time :buttrock

Thanks Wollyback!! As for my age, I'm 35! You would think by now I would have got the hang of this
Still early days though! Keep hoping he will come back..... Everyone says he will, I think not.
As you say time is a great healer, but it makes it harder is he works in the same place I do! So I see him everyday! Time to change job's I think...... :(

Hmmmm....    working in the same place eh? Suppose it's a bit like getting dumped at school then having to see your ex every day :sniffle

Maybe a new job is the right thing, you never know who you'll meet there.

PS. Don't watch Sex & the City  :D   :;):

It will be really hard! But I know I have to. I'm a taxi driver and sometimes when its quiet we all sit in the depot. But I will keep my chin up and just get on with it!!
Thanks everyone!!

hey im sorry to hear that, i know it hurts. Ive had the feeling for 2 weeks now, it really sucks. Three years is a really long time, but i hope you get better and happier. You should go out with your friends to the pub and hangout. It will cheer you right up.

snap out of it, why would you want to be with someone who doesnt want to be with you. get yourself someone else and rub your exes nose in it.

stop wallowing in self pity and get a grip

I've never put "been dumped" on here before!! God knows how many have been posted before this one......
Peewee, have you ever loved someome so much that you worship every bone in their body, the very ground they walk on? You would do anything for that person? The day he walked out, he took my heart with him. It's hard to snap out of it. For 3 years we did everything together. From stupid thing's like shopping to going on holiday. He was my best mate to!! I know that sounds really stupid, but he was
It will take time to get over it , I know that. But I will
Thanks for listening.............

I'm touched by Peewee's Compassion at this difficult time in Kazza'a life  :D

Peeewee joined the Samaritans once and got sacked on the first night after "losing" a few of the callers ! :oh:

thanks, actually i formulated a plan that will help, i think she should bang all the other other cabbies just to get revenge.

of course i have loved and lost someone, but i am also a realist and know that there is no point making myself ill with worry, as hard as it is just move on. like someone else said on here, get out and about, do things, have some fun and most of all look at the bigger picture, u dont want to be with someone who doesnt want to be with you.

:eyebrow  see i can be serious
