Well, western clubs are always welcome... probbably 70% of bulgarian football fans support an english club and dream of seeing Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham and many more live... So if you've waited for such moment for so long... you want make it all wrong with fighting, right?  :)  The problem usualy comes with our derby with the CSKA sh##e... we hate each other so much that we have tens of mass fights and two dead supporters in the last few years... The troublemakers are the so called SKINHEADS who are shame for our country and european society as a whole. We have them in Levski and CSKA - the funny thing is that CSKA was created with letter from Moscow to the bulgarian communists in 1948 and as you may know communists used to hate fashism even more than USA (so the CSKA crowd is the only place on Earth where you can see swastika and red star at one and the same place :). They pretend to be Nazi, but imagine what would happen if a german SS officer could see these guys with their ear-rings, tattoos and 5-days-old beards?! They can't be even Nazi  :D  supporters can be more than confident that there won't be any problems with Levski fans in Sofia. IT IS HONOUR FOR US TO WELCOME YOU! Just stay away from the provokative CSKA a##holes  :)

Hi chaps,

I am a CSKA Sofia fan living in Stuttgart. I would like to clarify some things as I browzed through the postins of this Levski fan.
1. Cska is the most popular club in Bulgaria, excluding the gipsy population living in the country. We are record holders with 30 titels and with this respect have something in common with The best club in the World - LIVERPOOL.
2. Almost all our fans are fans of Liverpool(except some stupid tinagers that support MU) and we will support you on your trip or excursion :) in Sofia
3. As in Liverpool, in Sofia we have two teams: The reads are younger, but have far more titels than the blues.Read is passion:)
4. THe team that you are going to play in Sofia was during the comunist regime a POLICE CLUB.
5. As they where most of the time second, they have developed a complex to everything that is READ
6. 1000 CSKA fans have tickets for the game and will support you. If you win the blues with more than 2 goals, then they will sell their tickets and the whole stadium will be read so go ahead.
Last but not least, CSKA and Liverpool played the beginning of the 80ies twice, so you probably know who are we. GOOD LUCK and smash them:angry:
:D :D

Liverpool is far better than Levski and the only way that YOU can loose is if you underestimate them. They have a good coach(has experience in the Bundesliga) and play with discipline. This coach likes to play defensively and am sure that they will play on ANFIELD with 9 defenders. Since as I said before, Levski tries to walk with CSKA and be more known on the European scene, the team is very motivated to show something against the LEGEND from LIVERPOOL.
For the result:
I am sure that LIVERPOOL will go through. Even if you do not defeat them will a great difference in England you will take what you deserve in Sofia.

1.We have 23 titles and 24 cups.cska has 29 titles and 18 cups!
2.Levski is the most popular Bulgarian team
3.In Sofia(our capital) we are about 35% of the population, cska-19%, Sofia is 1.4 million
4.They are the most funny team in the world with the most funny and stuped fans in the world!
5.We are at least 10 times more dangerous and crazy than poland or greece!
6.And don't forget-when you play against Levski, you play against Bulgaria!

Alright now :) As I can see an illeterate RED (not read) CSKA fan tried to clarify HISTORY!!! I hope it'll be the last time I explain this...
CSKA (Central Sports Klub of Army) was founded in 1948 - right after the rising of the communist regime in Bulgaria! The order for the establishing of a club who will represent the communist power in Bulgaria (BG) and Europe was given from Moscow - Stalin was still in charge. Levski was founded in 1914 by few patriotic high-school students when democracy was still a primary value in my dear homeland. The name that was given to this commie club was the name of a soviet club established with the same goal - CSKA Moscow... The name that was given to Levski was the name of the greatest bulgarian that ever lived - the Apostle of Liberty - Vasil Levski (you can check the biography and deeds of this famous man in the book of an english, YES ENGLISH, author - Mersia Mcdermot - "The Apostle of liberty" - I'm not quite sure about the spelling of her name). So during the communist regime the reds were highly suported by the government and this is why they've won 9 consecutive titles??!!! There is a law in Bulgaria that obligates every man on the age of 18 to join the millitary - so CSKA was the club of the army - this is how the reds used to take every promising youngster in their squad??!! Where the hell there's such thing in professional football? ??? Imagine Man U getting every new talent who was found and developed in every other club in England!!! As you, LFC guys, may know - Liverpool was beaten by CSKA in 1982 and thrown away of the Cup of the European Champions (it's CSKA fans greatest pride) - but keep it in mind - in that awful day you didn't play with CSKA - you played against the entire communist system. A curious and important fact about the great rivalry between US - the club of liberty and bulgarian people, and CSKA - the club of the Bulgarian Communist Party is that we have beaten them more times than they have even in the commie era!!!! Levski is suppored by millions - intelectuals, patriots, labourers and more, and more... Another fact that shows where the CSKA power in the past came from is that after the collapse of the communist government they have 3 titles - we have 6, for the last 15 years they've beaten us 8 times, we did it almost 30 times!!! Ask every red a#sehole what 7:1, 7:2 and 5:0 means :D  These are the results in derby games between US and them - they still remember them. They still accuse us that we've become a club of the Ministry of the Police in 1960's - yes we did - this was a clever move which goal was to give some governement defence to the club that we love so much and to protect Levski from the red efforts to destroy our club whose fans were always democrats - rivals of the commie government... I will allow myself to quote the most amazing politian of the 20th century in order to help you understand why we allied the devil - his name was Winston Churchill and I'm sure every english is quite aware of the life and politic views of this great man. He said " If Hitler decides to attack Hell tomorrow... I'll try to say few good words about the Devil!"... LEVSKI IS NOT JUST A FOOTBALL CLUB - LEVSKI IS BULGARIA AND ITS PEOPLE - ALL THE BEST OF OUR SMALL, BUT BRAVE NATION WHICH IS LONGING AND DESERVES THY VALUES OF DEMOCRACY!!! Sorry if I've taken too much of your time, lads - it's a LFC forum in the end  :)  Oh, and the jipsies that the CSKA fan is talking about - this is ridicullous, but if there are lots of jipsies who really do support Levski - I'll be glad to hear this - Vasil Levski who was hanged by the Turkish authorities (Bulgaria was under Turkish slavery for 5 centuries... and survived!) had a dream - that one day there will be a country called Bulgaria where bulgarian, turkish, jipsy, jewish and armenian people live in peace and respect each other! Judge me - my words come from the abbyss of my bulgarian heart. One more time - I'll be glad to drink a beer and talk about football with a LFC fan - the pleasure will be entirely mine, lads! Take care - I'm looking forward to WELCOME YOU IN OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY :D
