Final tickets will go to Season Ticket Holders and European Travel Club members only as their will only be circa 20 000.

It will not work like the Carling Cup final, where tickets were allocated based on attendance in the earlier rounds.

those are UEFA rules, whereas the Carling Cup was a domestic comp so Liverpool FC could allocate tickets how they pleased.

ey i just found this on the LFC website:

Liverpool FC have released the following ticket information.
UEFA Champions League

Liverpool F.C. v Chelsea F.C.
To be played at Anfield on Tuesday 3 May 2005
Kick off 7.45pm

Latest Update

Tickets will be available from Tuesday 26th April to SEASON TICKET HOLDERS who have purchased ON THEIR FAN CARD at least ONE previous Home European match this season.

Full Selling Details

Following the initial sale there is a small amount of tickets remaining. The majority of the remaining tickets are situated in the Anfield Road and Main Stand and within the balance there is a large proportion of obstructed view tickets and a smaller balance of severely obstructed view tickets.

The tickets are priced at 30 pounds each.

Obstructed views are priced at 29 pounds each with Severely Obstructed view tickets priced at 27 pounds each.

The normal concessions for supporters over the age of 65 will apply.

Tickets will be available from Tuesday 26th April to SEASON TICKET HOLDERS who have purchased ON THEIR FAN CARD at least ONE previous Home European match this season.

Selling Arrangements for the above Season Ticket Holders.

Tickets will be available to purchase at the Ticket Office, or on the UEFA Credit Card line, telephone number 0870 220 0034.

The Ticket Office will open at 8:15 am.

Personal application

The Fan card must be presented when purchasing tickets at the Ticket Office.

Telephone Bookings

Tickets will be available on 0870 220 0034 and will be subject to a 50p per ticket booking fee. Fan Card numbers must be quoted and season ticket holders will be asked to confirm their address.

Due to the amount of tickets remaining we regret that it is not possible to offer tickets to be purchased online.

All of the above sales are subject to availability and for as long as supplies last.

Liverpool Football Club CANNOT guarantee tickets will be available to all eligible applicants. In view of this situation it is anticipated that all remaining tickets will be sold on this additional allocation and that there will NOT be a general sale of tickets.
