The interview that followed on Sky Rafa was crying such a sad day for all involved I feel so sorry for him, sad sad state of affairs :(  :(
I feel f@ckin awful for the guy he must be devistated and must be wondering why he came to Liverpool.

Lynds you might want to rethink your thoughts next time. Benitez knew what was waiting for him, he didn't take the job for the money but for the challenge.

Yes I agree with everything you guys say but put yourself in his shoes, weve had 10 days for this game, excluding the CL game.
You can tell by his expressions ive told them to do this, ive told them to do that etc etc............... and none of them are doing it.
If I was him I would f@ck off now.
Because what gerrard Houllier brought to this team is pure and utter Pish that no matter how hard this guy tries.
like most of the Liverpool players cant teach an old dog new tricks.

Are you going to continue to throw fuel on fire Lynds?

Did you know that Mourinho was offered to come here but turned it down because he was afraid of a challenge. Where as Benitez left Valencia where he could win more things in order to come here and accept the challenge that is before him and bring us the gloury. The man is fully commited to Liverpool Football Club, if you think he's doubting himself comming here then get  your eyes checked.

No offence but thats a pretty harsh statement.

come on lynds.

i like you. you're a great contributor to this forum but would you seriously be saying this if we had won 1-0?

the guy knew what he was taking on when he came here. i said it would take AT LEAST 2 YEARS to turn it around at this club. so far he is heading in the right direction.

the guy has more class than maureen will ever have. today proved that.

Denied a clear peno in the first half and an unfortunatre header from Gerrard with minutes to go cost us the game .

He had bad relationship with Valencia's board, and despite the success achieved with Valencia he feels he need to move on...for more challenge, more glory and more personal fulfilment. Guys who thinks like you will always be quitter...one knock and you are out for 10 counts. SAD!

to build a football team doesnt take five minutes it takes at least a couple of years. benitez will get it right, we`ve just got to back what he does and trust his judgement.
rafa came here because in spain the presidents pick the players and call the shots. he likes the idea of being in total control of footballing matters.

Yous have got me wrong I do not doubt Rafa but I doubt the players he has been left with, you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.
And if hes not given the right funds to do the job intailed then yes if I was him I would leave.
Because what we have in our team do not give it 100% procent.
I love Finnan, Kewell etc etc............... but the mans not rumpelstilskin he cannot turn hay into gold, unless hes given the funds the guy cannot work miracles.
