Tomorrow night on BBC 2 at 9 o'clock, the sun says sorry about the lies they told over Hillsborough. In 1 hour long program, its 16 years to late.

Apparantly two of the Hillsbourgh families have accepted the Suns apology.Its not for me to tell them what they should or shouldnt do,I believe all the families have acted with great dignity in the fight for JUSTICE.
I think this is just another shallow attempt to improve the Suns circulation on Merseyside.The damage is done,this rag will never be accepted here again.

its just been on north west tonight, and the editor of the s*n has defended the paper to an extent by claiming other papers used the same headlines. but what he leaves out is that other papers acknowledged that they had used unnamed police sources and most apologised soon afterwards, the s*n used the headline the truth and refused to apologise till years later and it is only then , we all questioned their motives. it was when they signed rooney up to tell his f'cukin'g boring life story , and rooney was slated across merseyside. the editor then said he would help the families campaign for justice, but they refuse to meet with him, again passing the blame. the fact remains this is aploy to increase circulation on merseyside which is down to less than 25% of what it was before the disaster

i dont want to upset anybody here but in ,my eyes justice for hillsborough will come years from now when all police officers on the day of the disaster are dead or retired and any one else to blame has moved on, then the truth will be known.

but then i feel that justice wont have been done, it will just be an attempt to save face by the parties to blame and relieve some of the guilt.

the editor of the s*n and the presenter were talking to a father who lost his son in the disaster (and he lost a son years later in a freak accident were he was crushed when marble fell on him, i think) and they seem to gang up on him and put him in an awkward position, which i felt was wrong as he was not an academic person, he was an ordinary fella, his views were pure emotion. the news presenter seemed to be biased towards the editor of the s*n, made me sick in a way

also what he did not say was that the other papers only run the story in the first run(4am) by the last run at 6am they had dropped the story the s*n run it all day

belive it or not Basildon in Essex also stop buying the s*n due to what they had put, the sales have only just started to pick back up.
Marion Hazel McCabe come from just outside basildon and it was her face that they put all over the paper (yes Marion was the friend that i lost )
it is far too late for them to come a** licking now

Well it just shows how low people will stoop to make money. Dudman came across as an arrogant @rsehole. How can anyone 4give the scum after he readily admitted they are only saying sorry to make money through sales in Liverpool? Their apology is not genuine. All the talk of helping the Justice campaign, but only after the families accepted the apology, and the scum printed the acceptance, what downright arrogance. There was no offer of helping the campaign, either financially, or publicity wise - and then waiting to see if their apology was accepted.

NO...it was give them what they wanted first.
