What now?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Injuries and suspensions leave us with a squad of 13 senior players.  We need a midfielder asap because Biscan is not going to get the job done. He's back to his oldy sh1tty form and is just a waste of space.

Hamann-is suspended until February 2nd meaning that he will miss the game against Charlton.

Nunez-is also suspended until February 2nd

Pongolle-picked a serious injury which may leave him sidelined for quite some time.

Kewell-groin injury and will return in February

Alonso- out for the season

Cisse- out for the season obiviously

Against Bayer Leverkusen we will be without Gerrard,Alonso and Pongolle meaning that we will only have Baros and Mellor as our strikers. Hamann and Biscan may play well and may not, they played ok with one another against Deportivo but thats about it.

Good news:
Finnan,Josemi and Smicer have all recovered from their injuries.

Bottom line is that we need new, healty, class players in a short amount of time

Did you watch the game tonight AB, if so, did you watch it on a mobile phone, Biscan played well after a nightmare against Burnley, so a bit harsh there lad.

Also, are you in constant contact with the physio's and club doctor, if not then how can you possibly know if/how long Ping Pong is out of action?

Also, Josemi is back and that is good news for you? On form until injured, I am cr@pping myself.

Finnan is fit yes but because we don't have any wingers he could be played as one and Josemi as RB. I think you're being too harsh on Josemi. He was poor for months but he played fairly well at the begining, if he can get back in form then we got nothing to lose.

It's vital that we have all our players fit.

it was just a rumour ne way there was never ne thing to suggest that we were or are actually thinking of signing him except one article in one paper that was about 4 lines long.  So in short, no there is no news on solari

Hey, any players returning from injury is good news, so give Josemi the slack

We are in a cup final, lets just be content with that and hope a win will give us a much needed moral boost
