Dudek looks like he's playing without confidence so not sure how he lost it.

The point is an international goalkeeper does not become a dud overnight so whats happened and can the manager bring his confidence back to him. The only reason he isn't at the top of his game again is the ol mind of his playing games on him.

Don't forget that position on the field has no hiding place and is the loneliest place to be when it goes wrong. We should get behind this guy.

I can remember other keepers who got hounded out of the game cos the fans got on his case and he ended up out of the game, but then you young guns wont remember who it was.

yup , I agree with you . He lost his confidence after Forlan scores two goals , but that was two years ago. Or maybe it about time to change a new blood .

A top class team needs a top class goalie, we only have an ordinary goalie's at the moment, good but not good enough.

Other top teams have similar problems and Mancs are the same.

What we need to do is:-

1. Get behind Jerzi until we get a new keeper.
2. Get him a good pysch.
3. Put him on tranquilizers.
4. or make him a mod

and then he will be so scared to make a cook up as he will never want to be a mod again.

i saw cesar play for madrid last week i think. He looked pretty awesome.... Your rite...we have to get behind dudek now. Hopefully he makes less mistakes till the end of the season.

Neither Dudek nor Kirkland are up to it for me. Don't know much about foreign goalkeepers but as I said on another thread, Greene's the man for me. If he's up to it he could be our goalkeeper for ten years.

wats up with WBA and you ? 1st earnshaw and now green....

only kidding. Green was awesome at the start of the season. Now he looks above average....but still better than dudek & kirkland.

West Broms keeper is Russell Hoult Rock. As it 'appens he's quite good too but anyhow, Greene is the young guy at Norwich who looks like a big hobbit. Quality.

Seriously any other position if yer lack confidence the rest of the team can make up for it but the ol keeper is on his own, I guess that changing room was a lonely place at half time for JD.

Having said that, taking all what so serious? I'm just doing what I normally do, sitting here typing while trying to stop my little lad pulling the wires out of the computer and drinking a cup of coffee at the same time. Don't know if you're old enough to remember Lev Yashin but thats me. No more serious than normal though mate. :laugh:

How many times did anyone see Yashin make that kind of blunder? Or his protege Dasayev for that matter. Or Peter Shilton? I could go on and on.

Keepers these days get too much sympathy for school boy errors. I groan every time I hear the line if you make a mistake as a goalie everyone notices.

Fk them. No sticking by them. You're up for it or you're not. Dudek is not. Send him back to Poland where the only other goalkeeper in the entire country minds the pigs and the sheep during the week.

I'll add Gordon west to the list of keepers, he had the crowd on his back and ended up turning to drink, but then that could have been cos of his wife!
