What does lol mean? Also, why is it that whenever somebody puts up a "have a look at this blokes goals" links, nine times out of ten it doesn't work on my computer (I've got broadband but the whole things a mystery to me). How do you do that quote thing where you draw a box around somebody else's post and then put a smily face underneath. How do you put pictures on your thingy. Lastly and not leastly, why am I so sh!te on computers when seemingly everyone else is an apprentice Bill Gates?.
Oh one last last thing, oh don't worry.

This forum's actually quite useful - I've asked plenty of dumba*se computer questions and there's a whole army of techies out there to share their knowledge for free! :cool:

To quote another person's post just click on the "quote" button in the top right corner of their post, that takes you to a new blank box in which you add your comments (or smileys if you're Dom) - click "add reply" at the bottom when you've finished and hey presto, you've got a box drawn round somebody's post and your comments underneath it :kungfu:

Putting piccies on a post is also easy but I'm not very good at explaining things so I'll leave that one to one of the other lads

PS. LOL means laugh out loud. I had to ask that a couple of months back too.....

The video clips might not work if you dont have windows media player or winzip Mick download them then you can see the clips.

and while we're at it - i've been wondering for ages what the little icons mean on the index pages. y'know the ones that look like little orange and blue pages. sometimes the orange ones (which i think are the days posted in threads) have little arrows that move on them. the little arrows on the blue ones point the other way.

what does it all mean?
