LiverpoolBolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce thinks Liverpool will have to cut their losses on El Hadji Diouf come the end of the season.
Allardyce has not been overly impressed with Diouf during his time at The Reebok and believes The Reds should not request a fee for the striker in the summer.
The £10 million flop from Lens has come under fire from Big Sam for his antics on the pitch after being accused of spitting on three separate occasions this season.
"Somewhere down the line we're going to have to decide whether we want to put up with Diouf on a permanent basis.
"Liverpool have not given any indication as to what he would cost, but I would have to think they will have to let him go for nothing.
"After all that has gone on with him, I think we're the only club that would consider taking him.
"He has scored twice in two games now, but I wouldn't say he is boosting his value.
"I don't think he has played that well and another issue is whether he can become more consistent."
A very interesting perspective on Bolton, Allardyce and Diouf !!
Why do Bolton and Allardyce wan't Diouf ? Why talk the price down by admitting that they are the only club who would have him ? What is that doing for their reputation ? Effectively admitting that they are running a 'lunatic asylum' for wayward players !!
Strange !!
