some people think real life is like champ mangager or something where if you need a player, you just go and get one.
i am also shocked at how people fail to see how much a good job Benitez has done with a sh*te squad, where most of our best players have been injured or off form.
tell me, do you think Wenger, Ferguson, or Mourinho could have done any more than what Benitez has with his situation? i actually think not. and none of the above have been face with a similar situation either.
then we get, "why are we turning down money from people."
ok then lets just accept a takeover from any c*nt, regardless of his motives, regardless of his attitude and credentials, and lets go and ask Real if we can have Ronaldo for £30 million, and he'll probably arrive the next day, if the champ manager game doesnt crash.
absolutely pathetic. go and support Chelski if you want instant success.

For me we are at a crucial stage, we can either p1ss with the big dogs or p1ss like a puppy.
If we had the money Raf could buy what he wants but it seems we are going for the cheap end of the market and the chances of finding a star in these ranks are slim. So where does that leave us, well we are about to have it confirmed that we are no longer a top team able to mix it with Mancs, Chelsea, Arsenal and its happening while we talk about cheap buy 1 is better than cheap buy 2 etc.
Well I’m not intereseted in that cos they aint gonna make us a top team again and I don’t see Raf as another Arsen Wenger.
Who do I blame, well here we are new manager and Parry and his mates turning down money that we need desperately for new players.
How many fans are calling for him to go, no one on the forum so far so that’s what I find so frustrating, wake up you bl00dy lot and open yer eyes to see what’s happening.

That is the topic my post is covering, the lack of understanding of the bigger picture.

There have been numerous offers of money and we don't know why they have been turned down, so your guess is as good as mine. But we need to dosh for decent players and we need it now.

Nobody is having a go at Raf he needs the money to buy decent top drawer players.

but you also dont know what Parry's motive is and why he wont take the dosh but what is certain is is that we need it and now.

Quite happy supporting Liverpool thanks but I dont have blinkered vision.
maximus wrote:absolutely agree Jim, the fact is Rafa is the first manager that has been at LFc with virtually no budget to play with for players. To think we are still in touching distance with the 'big three' ast the press call them, with the squad we have and injuries to boot is absolutely remarkable.
Come on guys lets be realistic and SUPPORT the club we all love, and accept that Rafa is working within the constraints he has, and hope that HE does not get pi55ed off with the situation, which is my main fear, players come and go, we CANNOT afford to lose RAFA!!!!!
