Edu is one of the success stories of Brazillian players in the EPL but would he quit Arsenal to join us? He would be a great capture under a Bosman.

The best Brazillian to have made a successful career move to the in the EPL is one of the best defensive midfielders to have ever played in that position, IMHO, and he is presently injured and how Arsenal and Patrick Viera have missed him - Gilberto Silva. He reminds me of one of our greatest ever at that position who protects the back four, intercepts opposition attacks and also is handy at goalscoring - Ronnie Whelan.

Edu is going to Valencia, thats the end of it. I think the deal is almost done so yes Aimar could make his way here.

With wat money Christmas was last month we don't have the money for him and will Valencia do buisness with us ?

juhinho had a decent spell at one point but apart from him i`ve never seen a decent brazilian in the prem, or the old division one in mirandiha`s case (remember him from newcastle?)
in my opinion edu and silva are just plodders, no better than the likes of gavin mccann or sean davis.

15 million pound were looking at imo but even if we did have that money would Valencia did buisness with us.

if we do get aimar it would be one of the biggest name signings we have made in a while and he probably woulkdn't come cheap so i would think we would have to wait until the summer

Well they seemed to do business with us in regards to Pellegrino.

Besides, i dont think Aimar would be sold at such a high price. I know hes world class in all that, but £15million is a bit OTT...thats €21million lol!

I think we could get him for more like the 8 - 10 million bracket...still need a healthy investment though to be purchesing players at that price.

But Pellegrino was a free transfer so they would do buisness with us cus thee not making a profit out of it inset of getting him off there books.

Can anybody see what's happening? we are starting to get desperate for news on players that we are making our own stories, i wish we just knew for sure what is going on within the ranks.
