I think the lad is a good player, he was outstanding when Southampton beat us at Anfield last season. It was just a shame that none of the other players turned up on the day. For such a good performance, he didn't deserve to be associated with his team mates who were booed by a few of the crowd after the 90 minutes.

I always thought ostemobor will make a great right winger. I mean, he has pace, can take on players and can put in a decent cross.

Very surprised that he didn't get more of a chance when Finnan was out of favour, but he really should get a look in now that Josemi's both injured and woefully out of form.
