Do you think we should give him a run now that he's returned from Crewe? if Finnan doesn't recover for the Chelski game then I think we may have to  ???

He did well when he played last year, only thing is he's very attack minded and I'm not sure if Rafa would like that as he likes his rightbacks to defend more than attack ???

Paul, I think he might get a chance if Rafa has no other choice.

he looks a good player, i was slightly surprised when we loaned him out.
his hard running style is infectious, it lifts the crowd and team mates to see fullbacks bombing on with a purpose, players like phil neal, chris lawler and alan kennedy were always heavily involved in our attacks and there`s nothing wrong with that just as long as a midfielder sits incase anyone tries to exploit the space left behind.
for years fullbacks overlapping the wide midfielder was one of liverpools great strengths and most potent attacking weapons ( paris 81 for a start)

i think we have the quality and experience in our midfield to accomodate attacking full backs. i'd love to see him given a chance.

I enjoyed watching him come through last season and he performed well especially at Newcastle where we pinced a point which would ultimately secure CL football for LFC  so he played his part and he played it well.

I'd love to see him given a  chance to show Benitez what he has to offer and Raffa seems the kind of manager who remains true to his word and givces everyone a chance. :)

well maybe he just hasn't been training well, ever think of that? I mean he hasn't even made the bench.

Biscan is allegeadly the best player in training ( i kid you not) and he gets a game !!!!! I don't care if he's dire in training, he proved last season he could perform at this level and stepped up to teh tline when asked.......

I'm NOT the manager just a fan who has an opinion. If Raffa chooses not to play him then he must have his reasons and i respect that, however as with Biscan and Daio who have been selcted to play I reserve my right to comment on their performances where it matters , on a Match Day :)

I'd like to be afforded the luxury of seeing Jon play instead of Daoi or Biscan or josemi to be honest cos their all less than average IMO ???

I thought he played quite well last year. Probably he's much better after the loan spell. The Crewe's boss had tried to sign him on permanent deal.
